Valnet Expands Internet Service
Independence, KS, May 27, 2010 — Valnet, the largest independent provider of Internet services in Southeast Kansas, announces an expansion of its broadband DSL Internet service, a new look, twenty-four hour support and expanded office hours as part of its push to improve services.
The new broadband DSL service expansion is in Kansas, Missouri, Arkansas and Oklahoma to 566 new cities, bringing the total service area to forty states. In Kansas, DSL service will be expanded to include Abilene, Lawrence, Manhattan, Salina, Kansas City and Topeka. In Missouri, new service will be introduced in 264 cities including Kansas City, Marceline, Richmond, Joplin and Springfield. In Arkansas, service will be introduced to 110 cities, In Oklahoma, broadband will be available in 192 cities including Oklahoma City, Tulsa and Bartlesville. In all, the four-state area will see DSL expanded to 711 cities, a more than five-fold increase over past service.
On June 1st, the company will introduce 24-7-365 technical support for the first time. “Now all customers will receive prompt answers to their questions at any hour of the day or night. Our support team are friendly people, not machines,” said Don. In addition, the business office will provide expanded hours Monday through Friday from 7 AM to 9 PM Central time to help customers with service issues, billing or account questions and general assistance.
The company is also introducing a modern, distinctive new logo that reaffirms its friendly focus on the people it serves. The blue-green colors reflect the environmental awareness of the company and its commitment to “Think Green” as it works to reduce waste and consumption and to promote conservation.
